TikTok star Charli D’Amelio admitted competing against her own mother Heidi D’Amelio on the 31st season of Dancing with the Stars ‘was really tough on the family’ last year in the new trailer for The D’Amelio Show season three.
The 19-year-old former competitive dancer triumphantly won the Mirrorball trophy on the Disney+ reality TV competition alongside partner Mark Ballas.
Meanwhile, the 51-year-old former fitness trainer was the eighth contestant eliminated off alongside partner Artem Chigvintsev.
‘There’s a really confusing dynamic within my family sometimes,’ Charli said in the preview.
‘Dancing with the Stars was hard on everyone. It was really tough on our family.’

The 10-episode third season also explores the whirlwind romance between Charli and rocker Landon Asher Barker, the son of Grammy-nominated drummer Travis Barker.
